About Us
The Yale Hellenic Society is the official organization of Greeks at Yale. We aim to celebrate and honor Greek heritage through the following: A. Bringing together the Greeks of Yale University with the purpose of fostering friendships, upholding Hellenic traditions, and formulating a support group that will help native Greeks and members of the Greek diaspora adjust to college life. B. Updating Yale students and New Haven residents on recent Greek cultural, political, and historical events. C. Working and bonding with other collegiate Hellenic societies, various national Greek institutions, other members of the Hellenic diaspora, and the Greek community of New Haven. D. Maintaining direct connection with Yale alumni of Greek heritage, while also helping connect them with current YHS members. E. Γνῶθι σεαυτόν!
