Mission
The goal of OCAY is to foster a climbing-focused outdoor culture and community. In order to do this, OCAY aims to create a community of Yale students, faculty and staff who are already outdoor climbers, mountaineers or alpinists, and to provide safety workshops and other training opportunities for new and experienced climbers alike in a safe and controlled environment. In addition to on-campus events including workshops and social events, OCAY's ultimate goal is to lead outdoor climbing trips where members can learn from each other. As OCAY is expressly focused on outdoor climbing, we can focus our resources on providing the highest-quality climbing workshops, events, and outdoor trips.
