Mission
Recognizing that students from small towns and rural communities have particular experiences that are unique from their urban peers and impact the way they experience Yale, the Rural Students Alliance of Yale is a group for rural students at Yale to get to know and support one another with the goal of improving the experience of rural students at Yale. We also aim to increase the visibility of rurality on Yale's campus, not only highlighting rural members of its student body but also increasing the presence of rurality in academic inquiry through guest speakers, panels, film screenings, and more.
