The Chinese Language and Career Initiative (CLCI) connects students learning Chinese with professional opportunities where they can apply their language skills. Through speaker events, professional connections, and social events, CLCI seeks to include both heritage and non-heritage Chinese speakers and provide them with resources for combining their language, intellectual, and professional interests.

Smart Woman Securities (SWS) Yale and aims to empower undergraduate women of all academic backgrounds and all career interests with investment knowledge. Founded in 2010, it is the first finance organization for women at Yale. Through instructive seminars, mentoring initiatives, and meetings with successful investors such as Warren Buffett, SWS provides resources upon which women can build greater knowledge of financial markets. By giving young women direct investment experience while still in college, SWS aims to empower a new generation of women investors for the future.

The Women's Network at Yale is an intercollegiate organization focused on connecting and empowering women in the professional workplace, and creating a social community of ambitious, hard-working women. We host career-focused events for women in all areas of study to be directly introduced to successful women in their fields and to hear from them in an open and candid discussion setting. We also host professional training bootcamps, career symposiums, networking events, Q&A panels, social events, and more. As an organization that hosts many large-scale events, we are able to differentiate ourselves by providing our members the opportunity to network across a much more extensive list and in many diverse areas. Our TWN Yale members become part of the greater TWN National organization, where we have over 30,000 members across the country and 142 chapters across college campuses. Ultimately, joining TWN will enable members to meet and connect with high-achieving individuals on both the Yale campus and around the nation, authentically network with powerful industry leaders, gain insight into traditional and unconventional careers, build confidence, gain leadership experience, and access exclusive internship and job opportunities.

YAI focuses on providing members experience in alternative investing: private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds. Through working on projects with established funds, members are given student internships, acquiring valuable hands-on financial experience while gaining insight into the mechanics of alternative investing. Beyond project-based learning, YAI seeks to pursue deeper into the alternative investment space by inviting guest speakers and providing exclusive opportunities to network with industry professionals. We are committed to ensuring that all members have every opportunity to develop as young officers (for those who are NROTC midshipmen), and as Yale students, mentally, morally, and physically. Often, the cost of required NROTC events and training evolutions cannot be covered by official NROTC unit funds, meaning that the cost is passed down to the midshipmen. We want to ensure that no midshipmen is ever limited in their training as future officers, and therefore strive to provide them with the resources they need. As an organization, the three main resources we provide are (1) an inclusive community for all members, (2) financial assistance for ROTC training activities, and (3) events that connect Association members with the U.S. Navy, Yale NROTC alumni, and the many resources provided by Yale University.

The purpose of this Chapter is to promote knowledge of chemical engineering and to promote mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among Yale chemical engineering students and between students and instructors, and to provide services when called upon in order to present a good image of the University to the community.
