Samuel Shou-En Tsao will stand for the Qualifying Examination for acceptance into candidacy for the Ph.D. degree on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. in Kroon GO1. All faculty are welcome and invited to attend. Copies of Samuel’s dissertation prospectus and qualifying exam questions and answers can be obtained from the Doctoral Program Office (contact: elisabeth.barsa@yale.edu).

Q2.1 What controls the calcium concentration and flux in world rivers?
Q2.2 What causes similarities and differences in riverine molar fluxes of Ca and carbonate alkalinity?
