About Us

The Yale Undergraduate Hispanic Pre-Law Association (YUHPLA) is a Yale College student-led organization with the purpose of educating and empowering Hispanic undergraduates along their journey to law school. We achieve this through mentorship, workshops, and speaker events from Hispanic professionals within the legal field with expertise and careers related to issues that directly impact many in Latino and Hispanic communities. As Hispanics are underrepresented in the legal field, this organization aims to encourage undergraduate students to pursue careers within the law and engage with each other in open conversations about Hispanic-centered legal matters.
