Rennie Jones
Master of Environmental Management '24

Rennie Jones is a Master of Environmental Management student at Yale School of the Environment focusing on international climate policy and climate displacement. Before coming to Yale, Rennie worked as an architect and urban planner at a design consulting firm helping communities adapt to climate change. As part of this work, Rennie designed nature-based solutions with Coast Salish First Nations in Vancouver, developed flood mitigation plans for cities in Indonesia, and strategized with community leaders in Houston to strengthen neighborhood resilience. At Yale, Rennie is a member of the MIINT student impact investing competition and is currently supporting the Natural Resource Defense Council’s International Climate team at COP 28 in exploring innovative sources of funding to address Loss and Damage. Rennie also worked as an Environmental Justice Community Fellow to remediate a Superfund site in Southern Hamden and advised a consulting firm on strategies to expand its nascent climate practice with GSE India. Rennie is from the Detroit, Michigan area and holds a Masters of Architecture from Princeton University and a BS in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Calla Rosenfeld

Calla is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, where her work focuses on international policy and climate change solutions. She is also a Social Research Scientist at the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and holds a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Middlebury College. Calla is supporting the Pew Charitable Trusts delegation at COP28 and will be tracking ocean-based climate solutions and related financing mechanisms.
