Africa SIG

Become part of our vibrant community.

About Us

The Africa SIG is a group of engaged students interested in the environmental challenges and opportunities on the continent. The purpose of Africa SIG is two-fold:
(1) to serve as a forum for information exchange and research support for members;
(2) to create opportunities on campus to engage with the vibrant culture of Africa.

The SIG hosts and co-sponsors talks with scholars and practitioners, movie screenings, and cultural experiences to share the colorful traditions that have existed for centuries in Africa.
