The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit, national organization that seeks to identify, educate, and launch young women and men into foreign policy and national security careers imbued with the Hamiltonian perspective of strong and principled American leadership in global affairs. The Forum is named after Allan Bloom, who was a Yale professor, philosopher, and classicist.

As an umbrella organization we seek to unite the dance groups on campus, bring together the New Haven and Yale dance community and to work for more administrative support for dance on campus. We believe that there should be maximum cooperation within the campus dance community and that as the dance community grows it is important for us to work with the administration to accommodate their needs of rehearsal and performance space.



The Alliance for Dance at Yale is an umbrella organization which seeks to unite the dance groups on campus, bring together the New Haven and Yale dance community and to work for more administrative support for dance on campus. We book rehearsal space at Payne Whitney Gym for all undergraduate dance groups, and we host the Festival of Dance Groups during Opening Days for freshman. The Alliance automatically includes all members of dance groups on campus and is led by a board of directors who are elected by the larger membership each year. This board consists of 5 positions all of which may be held by 1 or 2 people: executive director publicity director treasurer outreach coordinator secretary Additionally a representative from each dance group who wishes to participate in ADAY activities will serve as a direct liason to the board and help in the planning and production of ADAY events. As an umbrella organization we seek to unite the dance groups on campus, bring together the New Haven and Yale dance community and to work for more administrative support for dance on campus. We believe that there should be maximum cooperation within the campus dance community and that as the dance community grows it is important for us to work with the administration to accomodate their needs of rehearsal and performance space. There are no membership requirements, though people wishing to hold office within ADAY must be currently enrolled undergraduates. Elections are held yearly in January. Interested candidate submit a candidate statement to the Alliance and are elected by majority vote.

Allied Scholars for Animal Protection is focused on the abolition of speciesism and exploitation of nonhuman animals. We aim to make students aware of the harms of factory farming and educate about veganism. We also want to provide a space for vegans and animal lovers to build community on campus.

NAB functions by pairing college students with residents in local Alzheimer's/dementia care facilities for weekly one-on-one visits. These students work with both family members and staff to determine the best way to utilize their visits in order to learn more about the interests and lives of the residents, thereby forming connections that help combat the isolation often felt by residents in such facilities. Additionally, NAB chapters in the past have helped educate campus communities about AD, launched music therapy initiatives, and performed clinical research studies. The American Red Cross at Yale seeks to serve as a local community service organization at Yale and in New Haven, providing aid on a more regional scale than its parent organization. We serve as an intermediary between the students and faculty of Yale University and the American Red Cross. We host blood drives on the Yale campus, recruiting Yale graduate and undergraduate students as well as the broader community to donate blood and fulfill the Red Cross's local blood needs.

The Asterisk* Journal of Art and Art History is concerned with providing an outlet for critical discourse around art for undergraduates, whether it be through practice or theory. Based in New Haven at Yale University, Asterisk* is one of the few peer-reviewed, intercollegiate, bi-annually published art and art history journals at the undergraduate level. We are dedicated to highlighting art historical narratives shedding light on topics that are often left to the margins. As part of our selection process, we reach out to over eighty different universities in search of high-quality, subversive essays and artworks that provoke new ways of thinking. We try to publish bi-annually with workshops, meetings and events hosted throughout the semester.

Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Yale was founded in the fall of 1998 by a group of undergraduate students dedicated to the expression of Mexican culture and traditional folk dance. Since its founding, the group has had the privilege of performing at numerous cultural and educational events at Yale, throughout Connecticut, and elsewhere in the Northeast. As the only Mexican folk dance group on campus, Ballet Folklórico does not hold auditions. Our goals are both diverse and ambitious: while providing an outlet for the exploration of our heritage, we seek to enrich students' cultural knowledge, and serve as a resource for greater Connecticut communities as well.

The Berkeley College Orchestra is dedicated to the promotion of a musical presence on the Yale campus and the greater Connecticut area. To achieve this goal, the BCO provides a place for students to study and practice the performance of music without grades and seeks to foster a community of musicians with similar goals. To this end, BCO holds weekly rehearsals and three free public concerts during the school year and one educational concert for New Haven public school students.

BCAY—the Black Church at Yale—is a student-run and pastor-guided on-campus church since 1973. We aim to love God fully, love people courageously, and serve others wherever we are—in short, Love God, Love People, and Serve the Nations. We are a Christ-centered, interdenominational fellowship that views God as a loving Father who desires a relationship with His creation.  Through intentional relationship-building and practical teachings, we aim to develop Spirit-led leaders who will impact all areas of society after leaving Yale.  Our Sunday services are warm and energetic, featuring songs of praise and worship, with musicians and vocalists. In our church family, we hope to nourish you spiritually through a soulful and rich cultural experience with your peers. There is no dress code; simply come as you are!

The Black Student Alliance at Yale (BSAY) is a multi-cultural organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of Black students at Yale through political action, community action, and social events. Understanding that the world changes for the better through the determined efforts of concerned people, and that we are strongest when we are united, BSAY exists in order to create that unity and foster that change in hopes of furthering the cause of equality. As a student-run organization, BSAY is responsible for advocating for the students at Yale, taking political stands, and creating the sense of community necessary to unite students to work for positive change. On campus, we strive to meet the needs of the Black community by holding weekly meetings that are pertinent to the lives of Black students on campus and that create a supportive community for all Black students at Yale. BSAY strives create a safe and active community in order to adequately represent and respond to the Black community. This sense of community must come from both current social activities and from a sense of shared history and culture. Our strength comes from not only the collective struggle of our contemporaries but also the cumulative struggles of thousands who have sacrificed before us. Let us strive in our efforts so that we may fulfill the dreams of those who struggled before and brighten the futures of those yet to come.
