The mission of the Diving & Hyperbaric Medicine Interest Group is to facilitate exploration and interest in diving and undersea medicine among medical students. We strive to give medical students exposure to this unique specialty by introducing them to faculty mentors within the field, connecting them with similarly interested peers, and providing opportunities for hands-on learning
Examples of activities: • Career talks from leaders in the field • Mentorship program between students and faculty • Simulation training at YCMS • Skills workshops and hands-on training events
