Mission
Bridging GAPS is a mutli-disciplinary organization geared towards building a community across STEM programs at Yale for graduate students identifying with underrepresented groups, including but not limited to gender, racial, and/or ethnic minorities. Our organization has three aims:

To foster community among STEM graduate students across disciplines around shared identities and experiences as underrepresented researchers

To provide opportunities for professional and academic development to support members in navigating their programs and careers beyond graduate school

To support the recruitment and retention of underrepresented researchers in STEM departments at Yale
