Zehao is currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI. A year ago, I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Yale University, where he had the honor of being supervised by Prof. Harrison Zhou. He has wide research interests including statistics, data science, and generative AI. His research goal is to design efficient and provable algorithms, to deepen the statistical understanding, and to provide new perspective for practical machine learning problems.

Sophia Han is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford Law School working with Daniel Ho, focusing on core AI research driven by real-world applications (law and social good). Her current project is also advised by Jacob Goldin and Chris Manning. She completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Yale (2021.9 - 2025.9).

Previously, she interned at Google Deepmind, Meta Superintelligence Labs and AWS. She can share both postdoc and industry job seeking experiences.

During his time at Yale, Huahao discovered that his love for technology was best expressed through people and strategy rather than code alone. This led him from McKinsey, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on tech strategy, to his current role building and scaling GenAI at Google DeepMind. Today, he encourages current Yalies to stay true to their unique strengths and passions, reminding them that a CS degree offers a vast landscape of opportunities beyond traditional engineering.
