Carol Chiodo is the Director of Distinctive Collections and Digital Initiatives at The Claremont Colleges Library. Before joining the Claremont Colleges Consortium, she was the Librarian for Collections and Digital Scholarship at Harvard University Library. With a PhD in Italian, Carol's career has taken her across the globe and spanned research, teaching, publishing and leadership in the cultural heritage sector. She is happy to share advice on career pivots and work-life balance.

Marisa is a drug development executive leading oncology programs as a Global Team Leader (Daiichi Sankyo, Inc). She previously held senior roles at BMS and Merck across early/late development, precision medicine, project management, regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial. A 2024 HBA Luminary Awardee, she serves on the President’s Council of Cornell Women, HBA NY-Tristate Board, and Yale GSAS Alumni Association Board. She has a BA from Cornell and a PhD (Genetics) from Yale.
