Join us for an enlightening conversation with Alana Casanova Burgess, the award winning journalist and creator of Futuro Studios' and WNYC's podcast titled, "La Brega.” La Brega explores Puerto Rican culture, history, and pressing current issues, such as the neglect of Vieques. Listen as we learn from Alana about her podcast, Boricua identity, journalistic values, and hopes for the future. Please note: the reception will begin at 5pm, with the discussion beginning at 6:30 pm.
