About the Project
For the past two years now, we have hosted a local moot court tournament for the students in our classes at New Haven Academy and Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School. The tournament gives these students the opportunity to showcase the progress they have made over the course of the year in developing their public speaking skills, knowledge of constitutional rules, and intuition about democratic values. The event is also a forum for law students other than the coaches to serve as judges and give feedback to the high schoolers.
