A valid visa is required to enter the U.S. for all international students except Canadian citizens. Once you have received your immigration document, your next step is to book a visa appointment at a local U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Plan in Advance! Some students may choose to travel to another country to apply for their visa. Be sure that you follow the embassy or consulate website instructions to confirm if you are eligible to apply there.
