Before You Go: Visa Renewal Essentials Zoom Webinar

The Office of International Students and Scholars is hosting a town hall webinar to discuss key considerations for international students and scholars planning to renew their visas over the summer. Along with the OISS team, we will be joined by Attorney Travis Feuerbacher from ZF Visa & Immigration. We will walk through recent updates to visa processing, including expanded screening practices and evolving consular expectations. Topics will include how to prepare a strong DS-160 application, common pitfalls and how to answer sensitive questions, and what to expect during visa interviews.

Although we will have a live Q&A during the webinar where OISS advisers will answer questions, we highly recommend that you pre-submit your questions as you register for this session. We will consolidate all submissions and try to address as many questions and concerns as possible. 

This session will take place as a Zoom Webinar, and registered participants will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. This call will be recorded and published on our website afterward for those with Yale login credentials.
