PLEASE NOTE: This RCR course is limited to Postdocs only.
Before registering, please be sure you understand if you need this specific Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) course. This specific RCR course is for postdocs who are paid from specific NIH training grants or programs, specifically: D43, D71, F05, F30, F31, F32, F33, F34, F37, F38, K01, K02, K05, K07, K08, K12, K18, K22, K23, K24, K25, K26, K30, K99/R00, KL1, KL2, R25, R36, T15, T32, T34, T35, T36, T37, T90/R90, TL1, TU2, and U2R.

This course consists of a single one-day program on Friday, March 27 from 8:30am-5:30pm. Participants are expected to attend the entirety of the program to receive credit for completing their Responsible Conduct of Research requirement. Those who do not work with Animal and/or Human Subjects will be invited to sit out from the sessions addressing those topics and this will be detailed further in emails to registrants closer to the program itself.
The course will address topics including: Scientific Misconduct, Authorship, Collaboration, Conflict of Interest, Data Management, Mentoring, and other topics therein. The sessions will include both lecture and participation in the form of questions, case studies, and small group discussion. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided for participants in the morning and a light lunch will be served part way through the program.
