Writing Exegesis and Theological Reflection Papers

Is an exegesis or theological reflection paper in your writing future? In this GWL workshop you’ll explore the nuances of these core writing genres, and you’ll learn how each can deepen your audience’s understanding of the text you are analyzing, as well as your own. We’ll start by discussing the purpose and conventions for each type of paper. Then we’ll break down sample papers, focusing on how the authors developed and structured them. Join us and leave better prepared for the kinds of linguistic analysis, scholarly engagement, and clear argumentation these papers require.

Intended audience: Divinity School students
