Gathering midsemester feedback from students gives instructors the opportunity to make changes to their course while it is still in progress. Feedback also opens doors for communication and transparency to build trust between instructors and students. In this workshop, participants will discuss types of questions you might ask your students midsemester to inform your instruction, as well as ways to reflect upon responses, consider implementing change, and share collected feedback with your students. Participants will also learn how to use the Midsemester Feedback Tool in Canvas, which Yale instructors can customize until March 6, to collect feedback between March 7-18, 2022.

The Poorvu Center is committed to hosting inclusive and accessible events that enable all individuals, including those disabilities, to engage fully.
