Welcome to all incoming Chemistry graduate students! Fundamentals of Teaching Chemistry is a four-part series co-sponsored by Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning and the Department of Chemistry. In this series, you will learn about your responsibilities as a Teaching Fellow (TF) as well as basic pedagogical information such as inclusive teaching, backward design, etc. We will also have panel discussions with experienced Chemistry TFs. The series will culminate in a ""microteaching"" presentation on a topic related to the course for which you will likely work as a TF. This activity will allow you to practice what you've learned in the series to your peers and use their feedback to strengthen your practice in the classroom/lab.

This four-part series will take place on Zoom on 8/17, 8/19, 8/25, and 8/30.
