Are you teaching a class or section in the humanities for the first time or just looking to strengthen your teaching practice? This four-part workshop series is designed to give instructors tools to meet the needs and challenges specific to a humanities classroom. We will discuss how to create an equitable classroom environment, how to communicate expectations and develop learning goals, how to lead a discussion, as well as grading and feedback. We will also devote some time to workshopping and trouble-shooting participants' own experiences in the classroom. This workshop series takes place in-person only.
