How can you keep your students engaged and active during a lecture? In this ATW, we consider ways of structuring information delivery and promoting student engagement during lectures, as well as workshop strategies for developing presence in the classroom. We welcome teaching fellows and instructors at all levels of experience, as a broad range of backgrounds will help facilitate a rich conversation. Please contact Allison Chu (allison.chu@yale.edu) or Lauren Saunders (lauren.saunders@yale.edu) for more information.

Please note: Advanced Teaching Workshops count toward the requirements for the CCTP. ATWs are designed as deeper dives into a given topic, and are especially appropriate for participants with prior experience. If you are new to the subject matter, you may be more comfortable starting with an ITW, but this is not required.

This workshop will be held on Zoom.
