Are you looking for ways to create a more inclusive classroom? Do you sometimes wonder if your classroom presents an equitable learning environment for both domestic and international students? This workshop will explore the ways in which cultural differences and expectations might affect your teaching practices, encourage you to consider the challenges that international students can face in the classroom, and help you identify the strategies and resources that can help you make your teaching more equitable and inclusive to all. For more information, please contact Nata Dudkina (nata.dudkina@yale.edu) and Ketty Munyenyembe (ketty.munyenyembe@yale.edu).

Please note: Advanced Teaching Workshops (ATWs) count towar
d the requirements for the Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP). ATWs are designed as deeper dives into a given topic, and are especially appropriate for participants with prior experience. If you are new to the subject matter, you may be more comfortable starting with an ITW, like "Identity in the Classroom," but this is not required.

This workshop will be held in person.
