Online teaching is an important and valuable medium for reaching diverse populations of students. We will consider best practices, challenges, and benefits of teaching online. We will discuss ways to incorporate equity and accessibility into online teaching and how to build community with your students. Participants will design a micro-lesson plan using an evidence-based online teaching framework. Please contact Zion Perry (zion.perry@yale.edu) or Will Johnson (will.johnson@yale.edu) for more information.

Please note: Advanced Teaching Workshops (ATWs) count toward the requirements for the Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP). ATWs are designed as deeper dives into a given topic, and are especially appropriate for participants with prior teaching experience, but this is not required.

This workshop will be held online.
