Details
Fulbright grants provide funding for one academic year of study, research, or teaching English abroad. Graduating seniors and recent Yale College alums who are US citizens are eligible to apply.
Attend the Fulbright Preparation Advising series hosted by the Office of Fellowships for helpful strategies and tips on the Fulbright application process. All sessions will be recorded and shared on the Fellowships website.

The Fulbright US Student Program allows U.S. students to pursue a year of study/research of teach English abroad around the world. The Fulbright Info Session Advising Series guide students through different aspects of the application process.
These sessions will be recorded and made available on the Office of Fellowships website.
The 5th and last of the Summer 2024 Fulbright Group Advising Series will cover most frequently asked questions in advising appointments and will allow time for Q&A about any aspect of Fulbright. Please note that this session will be recorded and posted on the Fellowships website.
The 4th of the Summer 2024 Fulbright Group Advising Series will be a short session to cover the Yale On-Campus Process and what to expect! This session will also leave ample time for Q&A about any aspect of Fulbright. Please note that this session will be recorded and posted on the Fellowships website.
The 3rd of the Summer 2024 Fulbright Group Advising Series will focus on putting together your written portions of the application. What should you include in each piece? How do you tell a cohesive story? What are readers looking for when evaluating your materials? Please note that this session will be recorded and posted on the Fellowships website.
The 2nd of the Summer 2024 Fulbright Group Advising Series will focus on how to select recommenders depending on the grant you are applying to. If you have decided to apply to a Study/Research grant, a portion of this session will also cover affiliation letters; what are they? How do you start the process of finding one? What should they include? Please note that this session will be recorded and posted on the Fellowships website.
The 1st of the Summer 2024 Fulbright Group Advising Series will focus on an introduction to Fulbright and how to select a grant to apply to! This session will cover what Fulbright is, who makes a good fit, and things to consider when selecting a host country and whether or not to apply to an ETA or a Study/Research award.
