Welcome, YSPH Teaching Fellows! Are you interested in learning about teaching strategies and resources specifically curated for instructors in the School of Public Health? In this workshop, we will discuss approaches to teaching your peers, the importance of establishing and maintaining boundaries with your students and lead professors, and methods to engage students in discussion sections and office hours. We will also focus on creating inclusive, equitable, and accessible learning environments. This session will utilize case-studies to explore a variety of scenarios you may encounter during your teaching assignment. Throughout the workshop, you will have opportunities to discuss your ideas and ask questions specific to your respective classrooms. We will conclude the workshop with an overview of resources available not only through YSPH, but also the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning.

For more information, feel free to reach out to Whitney Denary (whitney.denary@yale.edu).
