Forest and Nature Therapy Walk

The health benefits of spending time in nature are being recognized more and more widely. From “forest bathing” (shinrin-yoku) in Japan, to “park prescriptions” in North America, people are looking for more opportunities to tap into these practices.

Brad Gentry has recently been certified as a Forest and Nature Therapy guide and is offering to take up to 10 FESers on a forest therapy walk in northern Hamden on Friday morning April 18th. Spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and car pools will need to be arranged (the park is about a 20 minute drive from Kroon).
