ATW: First Generation / Non-Traditional Students

Are you interested in learning how to make the classroom more inclusive for first-generation and non-traditional college students? In this workshop we will explore research-based approaches to inclusive teaching, focusing on experiences of this diverse and growing student population. We will discuss case studies as well as relevant literature in order to identify strategies to create a climate of openness and inclusivity.
