Creating community with students in a course improves student engagement, trust, and learning outcomes. In the remote learning space, challenges may arise in achieving a sense of community. Join the Poorvu Center for a conversation with Yale School of Music Lecturer and Head of the Office of Career Strategies, Astrid Baumgardner, as she shares strategies for how to build and continually foster community with your students, with special focus on nurturing students' strengths, values and communication styles.
