Developing effective assessments and preparing students to do well on them in the remote teaching environment can be challenging for a number of reasons: student engagement and motivation, effective use of digital platforms, exam integrity, and synchronous and asynchronous preparation of students. Join the Poorvu Center for a conversation with Yale's Charlotte Fitch Roberts Professor of Chemistry, Jim Mayer, and the lead Teaching Fellow for Chem 163 and GSAS doctoral candidate, Noreen Gentry, as they share strategies for how to support student assessment based on their pedagogical experiences during their fall course that led to strong student outcomes. *** If you are a faculty member with a lead TF who would benefit from attending this session, please indicate that when registering, and we will invite them to the event. ***
