Academic Continuity Workshop: Using Breakout Rooms Effectively

Zoom breakout rooms are an effective way to engage students, give them an opportunity to reflect on their understanding of course material, and provide a place to meet and interact with classmates. In this session, we will consider ways to set up and facilitate breakout rooms so that students feel motivated to engage in a small group setting and instructors can get a sense of where students are in their understanding and pacing.
