Being an effective teacher and mentor is rewarding but at times quite challenging. How can we be the most effective mentors for the undergraduates students we teach? In this workshop, we will discuss recent research on mentoring as well as concrete tools to build a successful mentor-mentee relationship. We will also analyze different ways of providing intellectual, professional, and social support to your mentees. The content of this workshop will be relevant for graduates in all disciplines.
