SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ATW Preparing the Teaching Statement (10/27)
LOCATION:Private Location (register to display)
URL:https://yaleconnect.yale.edu/rsvp?id=2301358
DESCRIPTION:How can your teaching statement offer a clear and compelling description of you as an instructor to future employers? This hands-on workshop offers strategies and suggestions on how to present your teaching principles and practices on the academic job market. We will review examples of successful teaching statements, explore the expectations of the genre, and discuss how to make the most of this opportunity to share your strengths and successes in the classroom. This workshop will be cross-disciplinary. For more information, contact joshua.abreu@yale.edu. Please note: Advanced Teaching Workshops (ATWs) count toward the requirements for the CCTP. This ATW is part of our Academic Job Search series, and is especially appropriate for participants preparing for the academic job market, but this is not required.\n---\nEvent Details: https://yaleconnect.yale.edu/rsvp?id=2301358
