Are you a new international graduate or professional student at Yale? If you're wondering where to begin on this new journey, then you've come to the right place!
During this panel, current graduate and professional students will share the experiences they had as first-time graduate students at Yale. Topics of discussion will include the academic culture at Yale, adapting to life in the U.S., overcoming language/writing issues, and carving out a social life for yourself while enrolled in a full-time academic program. Students will share their tricks and tips, resources, and stories of challenges & successes while at Yale.
This event will be held over Zoom. Free, but registration is required.

Want to liven up your space? Come to the McDougal Center and paint a pot with us in the courtyard! We will be painting terracotta pots and planting plants to take home. Pots, paints, and plants will be provided!
[SECOND YEAR GRAD STUDENTS ONLY] We know that the second years did not get to enjoy many in-person events last year. But now it's different! Here's your chance to meet everyone else who joined Yale in 2020! Mingle with your peers in person in the McDougal Center courtyard. We will provide yard games (cornhole, kanjam, giant jenga, and more!) and yummy snacks. You can look forward to low-stakes ice breakers and a rocking good time. Encourage your cohort mates to register and let's get to minglin'!
