Fellows' Tips of the Week

Emily & Jeff and Estanislao & Raissa's Family Tips of the Week -  Check out the storytimes that the New Haven Free Public Library offers! Bring a blanket to sit on the New Haven Green for socially distanced stories and songs! Ages 0-6, with a caregiver, 9/13 - 9/20, 11 am -12 pm. Cecelia and Ngozi's Public Service Tip of the Week -  Do you like cats and candles? Order your favorite Fall scents between 9/13 and 9/27 through PetHouse and have 20% of your purchase donated to the Greater New Haven Cat Project, which improves the lives of stray, abandoned, and feral cats in the Greater New Haven area of Connecticut.

Love scavenger hunts? Want to explore New Haven and meet some new people? Join McDougal GSL for Geocaching: a global scavenger hunt that uses GPS to find hide and seek containers.

Meet us at the island on Broadway (56 Broadway, New Haven, CT 06511) to start our hunt for Geocaches downtown New Haven. We will be walking from the Island to the Yale Art Museum and end with free ice cream at Arethusa!

We’re excited to host McDougal GSL’s resident artist, Sarah Ostrech, for an evening of painting. Sarah will lead us in painting a re-imagined The Starry Night, featuring iconic Yale landmarks. While we create our works of art, we will Sip on wine. All are welcome, from veteran artists to enthusiastic newbies – this workshop will help you to imagine and paint your own re-imagined masterpiece!
