[SECOND YEAR GRAD STUDENTS ONLY] We know that the second years did not get to enjoy many in-person events last year. But now it's different! Here's your chance to meet everyone else who joined Yale in 2020! Mingle with your peers in person in the McDougal Center courtyard. We will provide yard games (cornhole, kanjam, giant jenga, and more!) and yummy snacks. You can look forward to low-stakes ice breakers and a rocking good time. Encourage your cohort mates to register and let's get to minglin'!
We’re excited to host McDougal GSL’s resident artist, Sarah Ostrech, for an evening of painting. Sarah will lead us in painting a re-imagined The Starry Night, featuring iconic Yale landmarks. While we create our works of art, we will Sip on wine. All are welcome, from veteran artists to enthusiastic newbies – this workshop will help you to imagine and paint your own re-imagined masterpiece!
Please join us in giving a helping hand to Michelle's House.
Michelle's House, which is home to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America CT, is holding their 30th annual walk and James Barber 5K Run and Bike. They need your help to support this event.
Meet up for a fun morning in the orchard with your fellow grad families! We'll pick apples, enjoy the fall leaves, and then gather to enjoy our harvest (and some cider and donuts). Orchard TBA (we are currently in advanced discussions with several of Connecticut's finest Pick-Your-Owns).
McDougal Graduate Student Life and The Office of LGBTQ Resources are excited to offer a welcome mixer for Yale Graduate and Professional LGBTQ students! We hope you will stop by to make some new friends and reconnect with old ones as we celebrate our community and welcome in the new school year. We are pleased to provide individually packaged food as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment while maintaining appropriate safety measures. Please consider joining us from 5:30 pm on Wednesday, September 29th in the Caulkins Courtyard located behind the Watson Center. See you there!
