Welcome Message from International Fellows

Upcoming events for International Graduate Students

HELLO!
This is Saiti and Jing from McDougal Student Life. We are both international student fellows, graduate school students who work closely with OISS and GSL staff - We are in charge of creating useful and fun events for international GSAS students, your families, classmates and friends - while these events are targetted at Intl. grad students, everyone in the graduate school community is welcome for the fun. And of course, we hope you will participate in any of the other great McDougal GSL and OISS events as you like - you can find them all listed on Yale Connect on Campus Groups.

We hope you have all adjusted to this new normal by now, whether you are studying here in New Haven or in a different part of the world. Normally we would have gotten to meet and get to know some of you through in person events, but this year everything is different. We encourage you to attend our virtual events which will give you an opportunity to get to know other students, relax, destress and have some fun. These events are also a platform for you to voice your concerns as an international student which we can then relay to administrative staff. Here are a list of upcoming GSL events for international students - we hope to see you there.

Our other 2020-21 GSL-OISS International events include: a day devoted to celebrating multiculturalism and celebrating different cultural groups on campus, a virtual pictionary game night and many more.

Connect with us -

We hope our McDougal GSL-OISS events make your graduate school experience a little more enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you online and in person in the future when safe

Thank You,
Saiti and Jing
