Macbeth: A haunting, minimalist take on Shakespeare’s accursed tragedy.
Macbeth as originally staged was 2:30 hours long with a plethora of minor characters (including 18 lords!). For the accessibility of our current modern audience, Ché Guerra ‘28 presents to you a condensed version which runs roughly 90 minutes without an intermission; a small cast of 7 stars in this punchy rendition of The Scottish Play.

Macbeth follows a brave Scottish general named *Macbeth* who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to violence by his wife, Macbeth murders the king and takes the Scottish throne for himself. Hijinks ensue and only time will tell if Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's leadership is well earned.

Venue Accessibility:
Lobby is accessible via building entrance by the north Elm Street gate. Upper seating level is accessible via lobby entrance. Lower seating and stage level is accessible via elevator in lobby.
