Register an Existing Elective Course

Preferences for Day/Time/Classroom - Faculty are required to complete the Course Registration form linked below each term for each graduate course taught at YSOA. If you are teaching more than one class during the 2026-2027 academic year, please submit a form for each course. Your preferences cannot be considered if your form is not submitted by the deadline.

Proposing New Course or Significant Changes to an Existing Course

This form is used to submit proposals for new courses to be reviewed by the Curriculum Committee. If your proposal is approved, you will receive an email notification with the assigned course number. Please note that substantial revisions to an existing course must be submitted as a new course proposal and will be assigned a new course number. This includes:

  • Courses that have never been taught at YSOA
  • Significant changes to the course description
  • Changes to the designated area of study

Fall ’26 / Spring ‘27 Form

After you submit a proposal for a new course, you will receive an email with your course number if it is approved. Once you have received this email, you can proceed to register the course and set up the meeting days, times, and room.
