Student Evaluations - Hazel

  • Evaluations Guidelines from the Handbook

Faculty members shall write performance evaluations of each student enrolled in their course and/or studio. These evaluations shall be given to the students as well as put into their permanent record.

Concern: Should a student’s performance in a course warrant a Pass (P) yet reveal a serious Concern, the faculty member should flag that Concern in the student’s Final Evaluation. Students receiving a Concern will be required to meet with members of the Design Committee (for studio courses) and/or with the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs (for non-studio courses) in an advisory capacity to outline a course of action moving forward.
