Asian Crossroads at Yale (ACY) is a student-led organization that fosters conversations around Central Asia, a region that has long bridged vibrant cultural traditions and modern growth and trade. Accordingly, ACY seeks to raise the profile of economic, social, and political development in the region, while also providing a space for students to engage with Central Asian culture.
The event will feature a Persian music ensemble led by one of New York City's foremost Near Eastern folk, traditional, Sufi musicians and poet Amir Vahab. The performance will be followed by a Central Asian buffet, including plov, samsa, and manti.
