Join us in the Shrine Room for an evening of ceremony, chanting, and contemplation. We will be introducing a practice focused on Avalokite┼øvara (Kannon/Guanyin), the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The evening will consist of chanting together in Japanese (romanization and translation will be provided—no Japanese knowledge necessary), offerings of incense, and a moment of reflection and contemplation. No prior experience with Buddhist ceremonial or liturgical practice necessary. We hope to see you there!
