Club Geo

Undergraduate Earth & Planetary Sciences Organization

About Us

The mission of Club Geo is to encourage community-building and facilitate informal peer-to-peer advising opportunities between undergraduate students of the Yale Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. Club Geo hopes to host a variety of events including team-building activities and advising events in conjunction with EPS administration and the EPS graduate student organization, the Dana Club. These events include but are not limited to bluebooking sessions, hiking and camping trips, movie screenings, career panels, ice cream and coffee socials, and graduate school application workshops. In addition, Club Geo seeks to increase undergraduate attendance at the EPS lecture series, Colloquium, by organizing "chalk-talks" before or after the lectures.
