About Us

Welcome to Yale Law School! The Jewish Law Students' Association (JLSA) is a religious, cultural, and social affinity group at Yale Law School. JLSA serves the array of needs for our proudly diverse Jewish community. We welcome students of all backgrounds and affiliations.

JLSA provides programming and resources for a wide range of religious, social, and academic activities. In the past, we have organized Shabbat dinners, pickling, ice skating, lunch and learns, Chanukah parties, and Yom Kippur break-fast meals, to name a few. We have hosted many speakers from within the Yale community and beyond, including Ambassador David Saperstein, Canadian Supreme Court Justice Rosalie Abella, and Israeli Supreme Court Justice Daphne Barak-Erez. JLSA also enjoys support and resources from the Slifka Center at Yale and the Jewish Grad Student Initiative.

JLSA offers resources to help prospective students make decisions about law school, navigate the application process, and learn more about the amazing learning environment offered at Yale Law School. We also create a network of support on campus through our mentorship program.
