About Us

ROOTS strives to provide comfort, camaraderie, and joy for students of the African Diaspora within Yale School of the Environment so we can thrive on campus. As a student-led group, we recognize the unique stressors Yale places on the Black community, so we host student-centered gatherings to support each other and prepare for the future. We continue to grow, change, and adapt to uplift our community and advocate for our needs.
