About Us

We, the Moderate Party, are a community devoted to political change. As such, we seek both to develop our Members as people and leaders, and to develop a new vision of practical, center-left politics. Our means are not only spirited discussion and formal debate of the politics and policies that divide our country but also collaboration with local leaders to produce something to show for our vision. We value pragmatic policy debate and discussions on salient political issues. We seek to bring our ideas to the outside world, and the outside world to best develop them. Together, we strive to advance the Party, the Yale Political Union, and this country.
