In this session we’ll guide you through using Zotero - for your specific needs for your senior essay - to make your bibliographies a breeze. No previous experience using Zotero is required. Zotero is a free and easy-to-use citation management software that allows users to download, save, read, annotate, share, and create a bibliography.

Co-led by a librarian and and a Yale student (YC '25).

Participants will learn:

  • How to turn sources into saved citations for a bibliography
  • Techniques and tools to stay organized when working on a large research project
  • Advanced features that can support Senior Essays and Capstone Projects, including making an annotated bibliography and using shared libraries

Technology: PC computers will be available or you can bring your own laptop (mobile devices and tablets are not recommended).

Audience: Juniors and Seniors in Yale College are welcome to attend.

Not a junior or a senior in Yale college? Take a look at our other upcoming Zotero workshops!
