Chinese Undergraduate Students at Yale

"To Bridge between the two Great Nations"

Lux et Veritas

The Chinese Undergraduate Students at Yale (CUSY) envisions a vibrant and supportive community for Chinese students at Yale, where academic growth, cultural exchange, and personal well-being are prioritized. Rooted in the values of inclusion and collaboration, CUSY serves as a vital platform for fostering connections both within Yale and with the wider world.

  • Fostering a Supportive Community

CUSY is committed to providing a home away from home for Chinese undergraduates at Yale. By addressing the unique challenges that international students face in navigating academic and social life, CUSY aims to enhance the well-being of its members. Through advocating for policies that promote student welfare, and organizing a wide range of activities that support both academic and personal development, CUSY ensures that every Chinese student feels empowered and engaged within the Yale community.

  • Bridging Yale and Society

Beyond the Yale campus, CUSY seeks to act as a window into Yale for the broader Chinese society. Through collaborative events, public lectures, and interviews with influential figures, CUSY works to share the experiences, opportunities, and insights gained at Yale with those in China and beyond. By breaking down informational barriers and promoting cross-cultural understanding, CUSY contributes to a more inclusive and equitable global academic landscape.

  • Impacting Lives, Globally

CUSY gives Yale students the chance to create life-changing programs that impact thousands of students across China. Our three programs—Camp Bulldog, Yale Ethics Bowl, YCF — and our premier academic YSS Journal impact over 10,000 students each year and open new channels of cross-cultural exchange, with an emphasis on training and educating future leaders of the US and China.
