About Us

Founded in 2019, Cadence of Yale is Yale's premier competitive a cappella group. A regular participant in the annual International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), the group is dedicated to telling stories through music as well as to collaborating with the global a cappella community. Through original arrangements, choreography, and thoughtful music curation, Cadence seeks to unlock music's communicative power with every performance. As an SATB group whose ever-changing repertoire spans all musical genres and draws influences from classical music, folk, rock, and pop culture alike, Cadence welcomes singers of all backgrounds and abilities.
