About Us

Club Colombia is Yale's home for Colombian culture — a vibrant community welcoming anyone who shares a love for Colombia's people, traditions, and spirit. Our purpose is to provide a space for Colombian students to celebrate and share their culture with a focus on highlighting and cherishing the complexity and variety of the Colombian identity and its experiences. In addition to providing an avenue for Colombians to share their experience, Club Colombia is also open to individuals who are interested in learning about Colombian culture. Whether you have a Colombian background or are simply curious about Colombian culture, Club Colombia offers a space to connect, celebrate, and learn together.

We bring Colombia to New Haven through cultural immersion, from hosting shared meals to collaborative experiences with other cultural organizations across campus. Indeed, our events range from intimate Club Colombia dinners to large-scale Cultural Nights that showcase the richness and diversity of Colombian heritage, from its music and cuisine to its history and contemporary identity.
